Crippling Breath, based at the University of Sheffield (UK), is recruiting three disabled, chronically ill, and ventilated contemporary artists who have lived experience of chronic respiratory conditions, and require ventilatory support, such as non-invasive ventilation like CPAP or BIPAP, or other forms like a tracheostomy. These artists will participate in a paid collaborative residency, and will co-produce new works for exhibition.
