Join DAC's Nature and Access Online Forum on 26 November at 1.30pm (Zoom), featuring Catherine Taylor Parry, Aidan Moesby, DeaNelia Lupton, and Kirsty Lindsey (Newport Wetlands). This engaging discussion will explore the connections between disability, nature, climate change, and creativity, giving disabled people the opportunity to share their experiences of accessing natural spaces such as Newport Wetlands and North Wales Wildlife Trust

For many disabled people, transport is not simply about travel. It determines whether we can access work, perform, collaborate, attend events, sustain creative careers and participate in cultural life. Lack of accessible public transport, inaccessible taxis, limited rural connections, unsafe travel experiences, and services ending before events finish can all become barriers to artistic participation.

Join DAC on Zoom on 12 November for a radical artistic display and discussion featuring renowned and award-winning d/Disabled Welsh creatives: author Bethany Handley, visual artist Cerys Knighton, animator Lleucu Non and singer Elen Wyn. Delyth Jewell MS (Deputy Minister for Social Care, Mental Health and Women’s Health) will also be speaking.
