Hysterical Garden Book Launch - Alice Banfield

DAC member Alice Banfield is launching her book Hysterical Garden at ArtHole on the 28th of November 6-9pm!

There will be an art talk and a zine workshop.

"Continuing with the narrative of The Greylands, shaped by the magical worlds of Ursula K Le Guin and Tove Jansson’s stories, infused with references to Autism culture (The Spoon Theory, Fidget Spinners, the Black and White Mindset etc), Hysterical Garden serves as a sentient sanctuary for hybrid-like creatures surviving the chaotic Sensophere.

From drawings of living armour that possess multiple personalities to writings about an awkward shadow, you delve into manifestations that navigate my experiences of being autistic."
