Why This Matters
Music plays a powerful role in supporting people living with dementia. Even when verbal communication becomes difficult, the ability to respond to rhythm, melody and familiar songs often remains. Shared musical experiences can lift mood, reduce anxiety and encourage moments of connection that feel meaningful for both the carer and the person they support. With nearly 50 years of experience working in this field, Live Music Now understands how music can spark memories, prompt interaction and create a sense of togetherness. Making Music Together brings these benefits directly into the home, giving carers simple, practical ways to use music as part of everyday life.
