Using a line from a 1970s folk rock song as a starting point and theme, this illustrated lecture performance takes a discursive and digressive look at divergent experiences of time. Attempts at reaching a state of utopic repose meet beatniks, 16mm film, slackers, Portuguese anthropologists, queer time, autistic perception, long exposure photography, anarcho-punk karaoke, and live drone tones along the way.
