BBKB is a heartfelt interpretation of toxic masculinity from a genderless perspective. Featuring a reflective string section from Bristol-based Berlioz Strings (The Imprints), the song explores the journey of young men, navigating turbulent lives amidst the chaos of the modern world and expectations. BBKB, standing for Baby Boys Killing Boys, explaining how manhood can be perceived through a different lens. BBKB is a collaboration from Cardiff-based vocalist, producer and Disability advocate Rightkeysonly, and Bristol-based producer, educator and creative practitioner Vice beats.
This is the second release from their five-chapter collaborative project supported by Help Musicians, raising awareness for Music Minds Matter, and accompanied by a documentary series amplifying lived experience. Structured across five chapters, Enough explores themes including grief, hope, toxic masculinity, anxiety, addiction and personal boundaries. Each chapter reflects a different stage of emotional processing, creating a narrative arc that moves from confrontation to acceptance and healing.
