Come along for a weekend of art and chance encounters at Spit and Sawdust. Take a chance festival will incorporate chance in all forms, from audiences taking a chance on engaging with an art event, to happening upon artworks by chance.

What to expect:

  • ✨ An absurd ceremonial presence will inhabit this industrial setting in performance by Jen Taylor.

  • 🌈 Cloth dyeing workshop with the Aurora Trinity Collective – create individual tie dye pieces and collaborate in a large-scale textile artwork,

  • ✏️ Alternative life drawing with Amy Edwards – meet your own image, yet not as it truly is.

  • 🔤 Random sign-making with Bruce Williams of Dim Problem studio – let chance guide your message.

  • 🌀 Clay creations with Jasmine Wood – get your hands dirty and create something by chance.

  • 🎰 Games of Chance - Try your luck and win an editioned scratchcard by Gweni Llwyd or a one-off coin by Rory Duckhouse.

  • ✍️  The Public Typist - Give Adam Holton, three random words and walk away with a one-page story made just for you.
