Take part in The Unfair Index and help shape the future of inclusive design!

The Unfair Index is a UK-wide survey which focuses on the everyday barriers disabled people face: at home, at work, online and in public spaces, including in arts and culture. The survey is open to disabled people, neurodivergent people, unpaid carers and parents of disabled children across the UK.

The aim is to identify where unfairness is most urgent, most harmful, and most possible to fix through better design.

Disabled people make up one in five people in the UK, yet we’re still underrepresented in research that shapes the products and systems we rely on. This project is about changing that: by listening properly and at scale.

DAC member Steph Roberts has been part of a team of Lived Experience Advisers helping to shape the survey.

We need as many people as possible to take part, to help build an evidence base to advocate for what products and services disabled people need - driven by lived experience, not profit!
