Supported by Meryl Streep, Nicole Kidman and Natalie Portman, The Writers Lab is the only program in the world devoted exclusively to script and career development for women and nonbinary writers 40+.

Submissions from citizens or residents of Wales will be considered.

TWL is seeking projects that reflect the diversity of this region, including linguistic diversity. While scripts must be submitted in English, TWL is interested in scripts that have been translated, or projects that might be translated into Cymraeg at the end of the programme. Selected writers will have the opportunity to work with translators provided by TWL.
