Congratulations to DAC Artist Bug!

Welsh artist Bug is celebrating an exciting international milestone as their artwork Kabut features in UNSEEN – seeing differently, an exhibition taking place at Palazzo Pisani-Revedin in Venice during the Venice Biennale 2026.

Following its exhibition in Miami earlier this year, Kabut has now travelled to Venice, helping to raise awareness of neurodiversity, different ways of experiencing the world, and the importance of being seen and understood.

Curated by Amy Jackson and presented with SHIM Art Network, the exhibition opens on 13 October 2026 and runs until 24 October 2026.

Kabut explores the overwhelming feeling of watching the world go by while desperately wanting to be part of it. Through expressive, layered imagery and vivid colours, Bug communicates the frustration of feeling trapped, confused and overwhelmed, while still wanting to connect with the world around them.

Bug describes the feeling behind the artwork:

“Letting the world go by. I feel trapped. I feel like everything is too much, so I let the world go by around me. I WANT TO STOP THIS FEELING. I hate the thought of just letting the world go by. I want to jump in, but it can be sooooo HaRd and ConFuSINg.”

For Bug, exhibiting in Venice is an opportunity to share these experiences with an international audience and encourage greater understanding of people who think, feel and experience the world differently.
