Disability Arts Cymru and Amgueddfa Cymru - Museum Wales are offering a £10,000 commission to a disabled, d/Deaf or neurodivergent artist to create a new artwork.

CCM is working in partnership with Disability Arts Cymru (DAC) to support a disabled, d/Deaf or neurodivergent artist commission exploring the corsydd sites.

Our Artist of the Month for July is Amy Grandvoinet! Amy currently abides in Aberystwyth and is trying for a proper existence. She’s undergoing PhD research in so-called literary psychogeographies and will teach autoethnographic writing in Lerpŵl from September.

We are writing on behalf of Creu Cymru and Disability Arts Cymru and we wish to express our deep concern regarding the UK Government’s recent Green Paper, “Pathways to Work: Reforming Benefits and Support to Get Britain Working.”

Eight Wales-based artists (including DAC member Cheryl Beer) who have spent 16 months participating in the Future Wales Fellowship 2023-25 have shared the fruits of their research in a new publication.

Thanks to Arts Council Wales’s International Opportunities Fund and Bermuda Arts Council’s Onion Bulb Grant, choreographer and writer Krystal S. Lowe and singer/songwriter and producer Kizzy Crawford will build and deepen connections between the Welsh and Bermudian arts sectors.

Oriel Colwyn in Colwyn Bay is currently showing Rolf Kraehenbuehl’s analogue photography project “Corpus | Delicti”. Paul Sampson, the curator at Oriel Colwyn, and Rolf invite members and staff of Disability Arts Cymru and TAPE for a guided private visit to the exhibition.
