What is the Wales Broadcast Archive?

The Wales Broadcast Archive is the first archive of its kind in the UK. It holds and shares TV and radio programmes from nearly 100 years of radio, TV and Film in Wales. The Archive has clips from:

•     BBC Cymru Wales

•     ITV Cymru Wales

•     S4C

•     The National Library of Wales Screen and Sound Archive.

This material is kept safe, made digital, and can be searched online. You can watch 1,500 clips from the archive at home on a website called Clip Cymru.

Clips can be also watched at ‘Clip Corners’ we have set up around Wales in libraries and community centres.

We have Clip Corners in Conwy, Llanrwst, Swansea, Caernarfon, Carmarthen, and Cardiff, and more coming soon.
