This International Day of Disability, join Professor David Turner, artist-activist Delphi Campbell, and academic James Patrick Cox for an evening of exploration into David’s book, Disability: A History of Resistance.

“At a time when ableism is on the rise, our histories matter more than ever. Disability: A History of Resistance tells a new story of Britain's past which celebrates disabled people's protest, resilience and determination to push back against prejudice and tell truer stories about their lives. I hope it will inspire people to discover for themselves the rich histories of disability that exist all around us.”

- Professor David Turner, DAC Vice Chair and author of Disability: A History of Resistance.
