Come and join us for a 4-week ceramics project with Emily Hughes, a friendly ceramic artist. This project is for adults 18+ with additional needs / disabilities. It’s a fun, creative way to learn how to make things from clay!

What You’ll Do:

  • Learn Ceramics: You will learn the basics of working with clay, like how to shape, mold and add texture to your pieces.

  • Firing and Glazing: Your work will be fired in the kiln by Emily and you will get to glaze it with different colours.

  • Friendly Support: Emily and Ffion will be there to support, making sure you feel happy and confident while you create.

  • Two hour session, 10:30-12:30pm. Biscuits and drinks will be provided

End of Project: At the end of the project, your finished work will be displayed and sold in Galeri’s shop ‘Cywrain’. If you’re happy to sell your work the money raised will help continue this project and support more creative activities. This project is a fun, hands-on way to learn new skills and be part of a supportive group. We can’t wait to see what you create!

These sessions are designed to be supportive and accessible. If you usually have support in day-to-day activities or when attending workshops, please bring a support person with you. The artist and assistant will be there to guide the group, but they may not be able to provide one-on-one support for all participants.

We’re working to ensure that our events are accessible to all and are committed to trying to accommodate any reasonable adjustments. If you have any access needs, please email ffion.evans@galericaernarfon.com prior to the event and we’ll be able to discuss how we can support you.
