We’re excited to invite submissions from artists and makers across Wales for Oriel Myrddin’s second Open Exhibition.
Opening in June, Oriel Myrddin’s second Open Exhibition follows the success of our last Open in 2021. Distinctive in being pan-Wales, the exhibition celebrates the breadth of talent, creativity and craft being made across the nation, while also connecting with the gallery’s local community. Works will be selected from digital submissions by invited selectors drawn from Wales’ artistic community, bringing a range of perspectives and experience. The exhibition will be open to artists and makers at all career stages, with submissions welcomed across all mediums, subject to our terms and conditions and logistical requirements of exhibition delivery.
Submission fee:
£10 per work
For artists not in education
£5 per work
For artists in education
Deadline: Midnight, Sunday 24 May
Awards:
There will be two awards:
Selectors’ Award – chosen by the invited selectors from the exhibited works
People’s Choice Award – voted for by visitors to the exhibition
Each award carries a prize of £250.
