Sky Arts Portrait Artist of the Year is one of the UK biggest art competitions. Artists enter with a self-portrait and those selected to take part in the heats have four hours to paint a celebrity sitter. By applying, your work will be seen by our brand-new panel of leading art world judges -celebrated contemporary portrait painter, Jonathan Yeo, Director of Frieze London, Eva Langret and Art Historian and Broadcaster, Katy Hessel.
Anyone who gets through to the heats will then be in the running for a £10,000 commission for a major institution.
