Join us online for Wired for Sound: Cymru x Alba — A networking event for Disabled, Neurodivergent and Deaf music industry workers in Wales and Scotland, aged 18-30.


STRUCTURE

This event has two parts:


A panel discussion (1hr) - with Disabled music professionals from Wales and Scotland, who will share their experiences of navigating their country’s music sector.

Speed pitching (40 mins) - an opportunity to share your current or future project(s). Each person will have up to 5 minutes to pitch their ideas and look for others to collaborate with.


ATTENDEE CRITERIA

This event is only for those who identify as Disabled, Chronically Ill, Neurodivergent, Deaf, have a mental illness or any other form of health condition or disorder. You do not need to be diagnosed to attend.

You must live or work in Wales or Scotland.

You must be between the ages of 18 and 30 and within any role in music (even if that means simply being a gig goer).


ACCESSIBILITY

It is free to attend.

The event will take place on Zoom.

There will be two BSL interpreters.

There will be a live captioner.

This is a Disabled-led event - this means, all attendees will be Disabled.

You may leave the session whenever you like.

Carers are welcome and they must book a ticket.

You do not need a medical diagnosis to attend.
