Mark Jones is a volunteer and Transport Ambassador with Gig Buddies Cymru, a project run by Learning Disability Wales that connects people with learning disabilities and autism with volunteers who share their interests.

Disability Arts Cymru is thrilled to announce the artists who have been selected for the Effaith commissions, in partnership with Amgueddfa Cymru and with Corsydd Calon Môn.

DAC Member Rachel Carney was commissioned by SHAPE Arts to create a poetry-film last year. Rachel is now hosting a launch event for the film, an in-person event in Cardiff at g39 on Thursday 30 October.

Our Artist of the Month for October is Visual Artist Lyn Lording-Jones, a painting, drawing and sketchbook artist in Penmaenmawr, North Wales.
