Rachel Carney is a poet, visual artist, academic and creative writing tutor. Her poetry collection Octopus Mind explores the intricacies of neurodiversity, perception and the human mind, and was selected as one of The Guardian’s Best Poetry Books of 2023.

For our November Artist of the Month feature we are highlighting the brilliant work of one of our organisational members: Am - the Digital Home of Welsh Culture. Our Artist of the Month for October is Visual Artist Lyn Lording-Jones, a painting, drawing and sketchbook artist in Penmaenmawr, North Wales.

Our Artist of the Month is Tobias Weatherburn, a multi award nominated bilingual Welsh Actor & Voice actor with experience across Stage, Screen, Video Games, Audio Dramas and Commercials.

Our Artist of the Month is Frances Bolley! A Multi-Instrumental Musician and Performer, Frances has an incredible range of work from her solo practice, to playing bass for Adjua and lead guitar for Fenix, music production, community arts, and even more. Frances also recently released 'i siarad', a Welsh-language song commissioned by Tŷ Cerdd. Read on to learn about Frances's amazing work!

Our Artist of the Month for July is Amy Grandvoinet! Amy currently abides in Aberystwyth and is trying for a proper existence. She’s undergoing PhD research in so-called literary psychogeographies and will teach autoethnographic writing in Lerpŵl from September.
